This 90 minute webinar (12:00-1:30 pm ET) will discuss new models for PrEP implementation for health care providers working in clinical settings to help them provide PrEP to patients who need it the most. Hosted by the CDC Capacity Building Assistance Provider Network (CPN), this webinar will offer several perspectives on how to implement PrEP within health care organizations and will include presentations from the following experts in the field: 

  • Dr. Julie Myers, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
  • Dr. Sarit Golub, Hunter AIDS Research Team (HART), Hunter College
  • Caroline Carnevale, Nurse Practitioner, New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia Irving Medical Center

Accreditation/Continuing Education Credit

Nursing: The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The PrEP Implementation Webinar offers 1.5 nursing contact hours for this webinar.
