What You Don’t Know, but Should – Celebrating Transgender and Non-binary Stories


CoP Description

There is a lot we don’t know, but should, about the contributions of Transgender and Non-binary (TGNB) people in history.  This community of practice (CoP) will take participants on a journey to explore and celebrate the vast contributions of the TGNB community, pre-dating stonewall and continuing through present date. 

 

Learning Objectives

  • Identify prominent Transgender and Non-binary historical figures, that are often overlooked.
  • Highlight pivotal events in TGNB history.
  • Review important accomplishments, outside of Stonewall, from Transgender and Non-binary individuals throughout history.
